"The way to energetic performance"*

H3C Energies is an independent energy services and consultancy company whose objective is to make energy savings part of a sustainable development approach for its clients.
With more than 20,000 buildings audited in 10 years, H3C is one of the leaders in energy audits and is nationally recognised for the expertise and quality of its services.

It was necessary to change their visual identity, while maintaining the fundamentals of their image. The previous logo, with its "N" shaped arrow, could cause some problems in reading the company name. We therefore proposed to keep the idea of an "arrow" indicating the "way to energetic performance". But in the interests of minimalism, we merged this sign with the number "3" in their name. The result is a sober and effective brand block, which guarantees that the name "H3C" is easy to read and that the arrow symbol can become the visual leitmotif of the brand.

* The original baseline "Le sens de la performance énergétique" can be translated as "the way to energetic performance", "sens" in french meaning both"sense, meaning" and"direction, way").

Iconographic charter

Each of H3C Energies' businesses is represented by an illustration directly inspired by the baseline "The way to energetic performance". In the example below, the arrows form a "magnifying glass" pictogram to illustrate the idea of study and decision support. The direction of the small arrows reinforces the idea of "focus" necessary for a precise and efficient analysis. All business expertise will be illustrated in this way according to this iconographic principle.

Context

With more than 75 experts, engineers and technicians solely dedicated to the energy efficiency and sustainable construction sectors, the H3C-énergies team is one of the largest in France. Their geographical locations enable them to be responsive to their clients' requests, with experienced, multidisciplinary teams present in mainland France and the French overseas departments and territories.

The previous logo was more than 10 years old, and no longer seemed in phase with the company's communication challenges. Its legibility and modernity were not really guaranteed.

Our response

In our response, we propose to capitalise on the symbol of the rising arrow by inscribing it in the typography. It symbolises the notion of guidance and advice specific to their profession. It illustrates the brand promise "The meaning of energy performance".
