On the back of the brochure, the map presents different languages taught at L\u2019INALCO. To avoid a representation of the world focused on Europe, we proposed an unusual representation of the map. They also teach the geography, history, institutions, political, economic and social life of the countries concerned.<\/p>\n<p>Our proposal was to offer them a map of the languages spoken in the world.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\"1\/2\"][vc_column_text]\n<h4>A twisted world map?<\/h4>\n<p>We tried to represent the world in an unexpected way (from a Western view!). This map is not a representation of the world centred on Europe, but a twisted map. Europe, usually in the center, is found on the edges. \u00a0We felt that this representation perfectly illustrated the institution's promise of openness to the world.
