Located in the heart of Lyon, the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur Musique et Danse de Lyon<\/strong> (CNSMDL) enjoys an international reputation thanks to its artistic and educational excellence. A true hub of innovation and transmission, it offers an exceptional learning environment where tradition and modernity come together to allow emerging talents to fully express their potential.<\/p>\n

Under the direction of Mathieu Ferey, the CNSMDL has undertaken a complete overhaul of its visual identity and brand territory. Driven by a spirit of renewal, it now more than ever asserts its role as a \"conservatory in motion,\" attuned to artistic developments and contemporary challenges. One conservatory, two banks.<\/h3>\n

Situated on both sides of the Sa\u00f4ne River, the CNSMD of Lyon thrives across two exceptional sites, each rich in history and perfectly complementary. Music and dance each have their own dedicated spaces, asserting their unique identities while fostering an ongoing dialogue. Separated by the river but connected by a bridge, these locations embody a vision: that of a conservatory in motion, where the diversity of disciplines comes together within a strong and unifying identity.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\"1\/2\"][vc_single_image image=\"75549\" img_size=\"full\" alignment=\"center\" css=\"\"][vc_column_text css=\"\"]\n

A Co-Constructed Strategy<\/h3>\n

Positioning strategy workshops were conducted with the Conservatory\u2019s teams to collectively define the institution\u2019s current image and outline its vision for the future. The goal: to identify a clear and unifying positioning, one that reflects the leadership\u2019s ambitions while staying aligned with students\u2019 expectations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=\"64px\"][vc_single_image image=\"75465\" img_size=\"full\" alignment=\"center\" css=\"\"][vc_column_text css=\"\"]\n

Un logo simple, vivant et inspirant<\/h3>\n

Nous avons imagin\u00e9 un logo \u00e9pur\u00e9 et dynamique, qui unit harmonieusement la musique et la danse. Les cinq lignes<\/strong> rappellent la port\u00e9e musicale<\/strong>, structure essentielle de la musique. La ligne ondul\u00e9e symbolise la dans<\/strong>e, apportant mouvement, fluidit\u00e9 et \u00e9motion \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble. \u00a0Ce signe graphique \u00e9voque aussi les lignes de vitesse (comme en BD), traduisant imm\u00e9diatement \u00e9nergie et enthousiasme. Extending the Identity <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Thanks to its unique character, this typeface acts as a visual marker, instilling a distinct identity across communication materials and various graphic elements. Even when the CNSMDL logo is not present, the use of the typeface maintains stylistic continuity and strengthens the institution\u2019s recognition among its audience.
